Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of Muscat Securities Market closed Wednesday’s trading with a growth of 0.32% or 18.27 points to 5,779.59 points.
The Shariah index also rose by 0.3% to the level of 883.61 points.
Trading volume reached 15.22 million shares exchanged at OMR 3 million, compared to 11.52 million shares exchanged on Tuesday.
The financial, industrial and services sectors leapt collectively by 0.66%, 0.45% and 0.41% respectively.
Al Sharqiya Investment Holding led the green list by adding 7.69%, while Oman Hotels and Tourism topped the red list with a fall of 9.59%.
Galfar Engineering was the most traded stock with a volume of 3.6 million shares, whereas Oman Qatari Telecommunications made the highest liquidity of OMR 488,000.
